"I purchased the Playtime DVD and my baby liked the music so much I then purchased the CD. I love the music that is on the CD as much as my child. It is great to hear childrens childrens music played with real instruments, not synthesized sounds. I would recommend it to anyone with a small child."

"My 12 week old son loves watching the DVD and each morning I happily play it for him. The music soothes him and he enjoys watching the bright colours and images. I have no problem recommending Playtime at my Mother group as the DVD has been my morning sanity! Every morning I let my 12 week old daughter watch it so I can get the day started. She so enjoys it, giggling and gurgling at all her favourite parts. She gets quite vocal at some stages and the arms get waved around. It was funny the first time she watched it, we listened to her from another room and she was having a great time, however she then started to cry so I went to check on her only to discover that the DVD had finished!! I have now learnt to put it on “LOOP” each time. I tried her this morning with a different DVD however within a couple of minutes it got turned off and Brilliant babies was back on." Our 17 month-old twins are simply mesmerised by the Playtime ‘Brilliant Babies’ DVD. It very effectively captures and sustains their attention for several reasons: It gives them a single focus on which to concentrate, rather than bombard them with too many distractions at once It demonstrates how to do simple tasks, which means they are encouraged to imitate these It has a calming effect on their mood (always a positive thing with easily-overstimulated twins!) And it provides variety of the same types (eg flowers/fruit, etc.), which helps them understand subtle differences between things I have no hesitation recommending this product to any parent wanting to capture their child’s attention and keep them fascinated for hours."
