Most people with a baby will have seen (or own) a Baby Bjorn Baby Carrier – I know mine was invaluable – especially for my first born – but now another great product from Baby Bjorn – the Babysitter Balance. I only wish I had one of these when my two were newborns and needed to be rocked.
The Babysitter Balance is designed for newborns up to 2 years. It has 3 positions – play, rest and sleep. And unlike a lot of rockers on the market these days, it doesn’t need any batteries – baby does the rocking all by himself (which allows him to practice motor skills and balance) The Babysitter Balance has a great ergonomic design – and seems very comfortable – my one year old loves sitting and rocking in his. It is compact and easy to fold – allowing you to take it out with you anywhere. The fabric is machine washable which makes it super easy to keep clean.
There are also some great accessories to go with the Babysitter Balance. Try the Wooden Toy that has brightly coloured figures that baby can spin. Or the Cozy Cover which keeps baby nice and snug.
