The Natives are getting restless – bring on summer time! The summer collection from the talented pair behind Polka is filled with Aztec and Tribal influences with that handwriting that Polka fans have become obsessed with. From babies through to boys and girls aged 8 years, Polka have this summer covered top to toe in stylish wears that ooze personality and individuality. Unique cuts and prints mixed with this seasons basics – harem pants and racer back singlets, makes for more than one essential Polka purchase this summer.
Dressing up? Both boys and girls can get a black and white fix with snappy gingham shirts and tuxedo party dresses. Mini Me Misses and Debonair Lads will do parties this ksummer in style! With boys in trilby hats, dressed down with denim shorts and Scandinavian print bamboo spandex stretch tees. For the girlsgirls, it’s mini maxi and mocktail Dresses in diamonds, peacock & paisley prints.
Little misses can go from beach to pool party in 70’s style soft bamboo Kaftan coveralls – matched with wide brim floppy hats.
Summer 09 sees Polka introduce their first collection of striking swimwear, in luminous colourways, Scandinavian patterns and prints, with frill bottomed cuts in spots and the Electric Mermaid, and Scandinavian Tree prints. For boys the Digital and Stockholm print splashes onto micofibre boardshorts. And to top it off, unisex rash shirts to alternate between all.

Having recently secured distribution in the LA, New York and Japan, Polka Kids will soon be worn and adored by kids worldwide. Always one step ahead and with a keen business eye, the girls have taken the leap into the land of tweens, soon to launch their Polka-esque collection ‘Geogami’ for savvy kids aged 8-14. The Winter 2010 Polka and Geogami collections will be launched mid August 2009.
