I am excited to share with you the newest Mei tai on the market...The Sunshine Baby Sling! A friend and I (both home birthers) designed and started this buisness...it is still in the early stages of production...the new website was just introduced last week and is still under construction, plans are in the works for producing an instructional video, photo shoot, ect! We are very excited!
The SBS sling features some of the best of all the slings on the market....Contoured body(reducing rub on baby's legs) wide shoulder straps that distrubute baby's weight across your shoulder(deltoid region) rather than the neck (trapezius muscle). Extra long straps (90 inches) to accomadate hip, front and back carries. The head support in this sling is like no other, very sturdy interfacing and unbleached cotton sandwiched between 4 layers of beautiful Amy Butler high thread count 100% cotton, this supports baby's head while asleep (even big ones, my Hannah is 16 months and >25 lbs and her head is well supported while sleeping) in the head rest is a zipper compartment housing a sleeping/nursing/sun hood (which can be removed from the sling by removable zipper, for cleaning), within the hood compartment is a small zip pouch (perfect for holding SBS buisness cards!:) as well as credit card/cash!
